Privacy notice
This notice explains how we handle personal data on this website and the privacy principles behind the Balance Project app. Before anyone creates a Balance Project account, the app shows its full privacy notice and asks for each consent separately.
1. Who we are
This website (srct.tw) is run by Seller Tech U.S.A. LLC. Balance Project services in Taiwan are provided by its wholly owned subsidiary, Seller Technology Ltd. (台灣商戶科技有限公司). Questions and requests: tc@srct.tw.
2. This website
- There are no sign-up forms, no analytics, and no advertising or tracking cookies.
- Cloudflare delivers and protects this site. It processes technical data such as IP addresses and request logs for security and delivery, and may set strictly necessary security cookies.
- If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply and to keep a record of the conversation.
3. The Balance Project app: what we collect
- Account details you give us.
- Recovery notes you choose to enter, such as sleep quality, soreness, how you feel, and your goals.
- Wearable data you choose to connect, such as sleep, activity, and heart rate, chosen source by source and category by category.
- Venue visits and bookings you choose to link.
We do not collect medical records, health check-up reports, health insurance records, genetic data, precise continuous location, or your contacts.
4. How it is processed
- On your phone by default. Your personal agent runs on your phone, and your recovery data is processed there unless you choose to share it.
- Sharing is your choice, item by item. A professional sees only the summary and question you agree to share, for the period you choose. A venue receives only the service, date, time, and budget.
- A professional approves every message before it reaches you.
- No outside AI without your say. If a feature ever needs an outside AI provider, we will first tell you the provider, the data sent, the purpose, the country, and how long it is kept, and ask for your explicit consent.
5. What we never do
We do not sell or rent your data, use it for advertising or cross-service tracking, or give it to insurers or employers for underwriting, credit, hiring, or pricing decisions. Your data is not used to train models for other people unless you opt in separately, and you can withdraw that choice.
6. Your rights
Under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act, you can ask to access your personal data, get a copy, correct or add to it, stop its collection, processing, or use, or have it deleted. Email tc@srct.tw. In the app you can withdraw any consent at any time; withdrawing one choice does not affect the others.
7. Adults only
Balance Project is for adults 18 and over.
8. Changes
Before we add new types of data, purposes, or recipients, we will tell you, and we will ask again where consent is needed.
